Idaho Falls Rescue Mission gives vital services, basic help, and expectation to the destitute men to be in the city of Refuge and the women who have kids’ and are also homeless are given shelter at Ruth House. The key aim is to give urgent refuge, food, cloths and basic essentials. Idaho Falls Rescue offers case administration for all those willing to stay at our shelters. Some of the programs are disability needs, referrals to get good employment, medical needs and life counseling. The residents living in these homes have the perfect chance to change their lives when they enroll in these programs. There is also the Christian discipleship program that is available on request.

Temporary Track
Transients are permitted to live for a period of one week only. They are given and supplied the basic and essential services and have the perfect chance to request about supplementary tracks through the entry consultation with our Case Manager who is in charge of this department.

Swift Track
Fast Track is intended to those individuals that basically require somewhere to live while they look for a job or find a permanent place to stay. The duration for this type of arrangement usually lasts for a period of six weeks but the situation can change based on unfolding circumstances. The residents who are o this track are highly required to keep on applying to employment opportunities o a daily basis. They are also required to meet with the case manager on a weekly basis to discuss the progress and some of the problems they are facing like finding employment and a place to stay. If a resident finds employment, he will be required to prepare a budget that he must follow to the latter once he moves out of the shelter.

The Gold Track
This is for the residents that are serious with their lives and want to change for the better. They are able to evaluate their life, how they came to b e in this situation, accept the current life situations and find the direction they want to follow in life. To get started, the resident will be required to fill in a gold sheet where they will be required to fill-in the goals and ways they intend to change their lives. Some of the areas they are required to address include addiction, employment, careers, relationships, their overall health, finances, and so forth. Once they have completed, they will go through it with the case manager who will carefully develop a plan that will assist them to develop the goals they have laid out.

Through the period they are in the center, the residents will meet with the manager to discuss the progress and what thy ear doing to change their life for the better. The Duration for this program is three months and the resident should be on the right track to find proper employment, housing and direction in life.

Blue Track
This is for people who are just form the jail or prison. It is made to assist the residents to get proper skills and a away back to the community. To be in this tack, you need to apply before you get out of incarceration. Once they are accepted, they are required to follow all the rules and guidelines.

Christian Discipleship
People who are living in the shelters are encouraged to join this program although it is not compulsory. It involves participating in bible lessons, attending church and praying. This program uplifts the residents and changes their way of life and beliefs for the better.
