Failure to known the basic rights will make the women who are abused not to know where to run to when face with such a situation. Women lack access to money and they will not be able to finance their fees during this process. The fees are generally high and the women will find it hard to pay and at the same time support their children. Many also fear that their husbands will use all the money and power to win over the case and decide to stay in the abusive relationships. When a woman looses a case, she feels inferior and her rights are looked down upon.

What is LAO? Is legal system which stands for Legal Aid Ontario and basically helps those who cannot pay representation fees? They will give you access to hire a lawyer that will accept their legal aid.
