There is a new project that is aimed to place discrimination at bay and help people get the basic human right and they are not violated in any way. There are many centers that assist people who feel that their right has basically been denied. Some of the issues include social injustice, uneven employment, tribalism and nepotism.

Many people are aware of the fact that discrimination exists but they do not want to admit about it. Some of the basic cases of violation include denial to basic needs, physical, emotional and psychological abuse. It is important to report some of these cases to the required authorities who will assist where possible. Some young people are raped by their parents or are sexually assaulted. They do not have anyone to turn to and feel lonely in the world. This can make them commit suicide or excommunicate themselves from the society. Read the rest of this entry »

Many mothers who are refuges have stated that one point in their life they have been abused by their husbands. This is besides the fact that they have been through a lot and trying to find refuge in a whole new country. Most of the women are left to take car of the kids alone when the husband decides to leave for fear of responsibility. Others are abused by their spouses who are much stressed and find I hard to adopt to another lifestyle.

Many refugee women opt o stay with their abusive spouses because of the children. They fear what will happen to their future if they do not have jobs and one to lean on. They also fear their children will be taken away by social services if they are not in a position to provide others want to raise their children in the traditional setting a family so that the children can get to know both parents and the importance of a family unit. Most of the women say they far facing community when they are single and fear the children will face stigmatism. Others will opt to stay because of traditional values. Read the rest of this entry »
