Common law
It is also known as precedent or case law. It is usually developed by the judges as a result of court decisions and other similar cases. Common law is a legal structure and many people find it is fair and just. The precedent body is referred as common law and it also binds on future decisions. When bodies do not know how to solve a case, they go back to similar past court experiences and find out how the case was judged. If the case is unique and has never been done before, the authorities are on a duty to make judgment fairly. The new decision passed will be used for future similar cases. This method is fair and the decisions are made by a group of people who will sit in for many hours to come with the effective decision.
Common Law is more practicable and used on many occasions because there are always court cases on a daily basis. The laws are however used per jurisdiction and in other places the laws of different places do not apply. Some areas have different laws yet they are all in the same country. It is wise to know what all the different laws state before presenting a case or passing judgment.
Common Law was basically used in England and spread all over the world and all the countries that were colonized by the British adapted to this rules and systems. The method was wide spread and common law was the way many cases were solved. The judges were selected carefully to avoid any form of corruption.

Historical uses of common law
This law was adapted in the ancient years and dates back to the 11th Century in the English empire. The cases in this form were the ones ht the king had no interest in and made his subjects and law makers decide. They used to refer to past cases and how they had solved the issue. In the long run, the courts were seen to be very effective and they were fully adapted all over the English empire. The laws used were applicable to all jurisdictions in the empire. New cases that had not been solved before were highly debated before a decision was finally made. Most of the cases and judgments were documented to give a fair reading and judgment to all the people in the empire. This common law continued and spread it wings over the world and in the end, it developed to be law that was accepted all over the globe.
Arbitration of common law
In common law, there are several stages that are designed to know what law is and the issue is debated upon and numerous researches are done. The fact need to be put in place and then allocate the relevant clauses and statutes. This is later followed by analyzing the details and rulings by other courts on the matter at hand.
Decisions are made by the legislatures and other law makers after thoroughly assessing the facts and stating what is applicable. The process is long and the bodies involved need to come to an agreed decision for the process to be passed in to law.
